About FEA

Client Testimonials

"Maywood, Melrose Park and Broadview School Board understands that if students and families don’t feel safe, they can’t prioritize learning. We partnered with FEA, with Randy Braverman as our consultant, to begin training with our security teams. Randy initiated training for our security officers districtwide. He created a system of accountability for our team and trained our staff and school leaders in the expectations in order to improve safety in our schools. Randy supported the roll out of Raptor, assuring all who enter our buildings are safe and allowed to be there. Randy worked with our District and school leaders to prepare emergency response plans for every school and supported and gave feedback as we practiced them. Randy also initiated the first active shooter drill in District 89, where we practiced our response with 4 police departments that support the district. Our staff report feeling more prepared for emergencies following the drill. The results from the work done by Randy are immeasurable; beyond our expectations. They positioned our school district to be more prepared."

“We partnered with FEA to overhaul our emergency management plan so that it was commensurate with best practices. Since then, we’ve been attending the annual safety conference sponsored by FEA and have been reading their literature. Last year was time for us to revise our plans and protocols, so we’ve re-engaged. They are knowledgeable, dependable, and have been an invaluable resource. We highly recommend their services.”
