Dan Watkins

Principal

As Principal and Chief Engineer, Dan ensures that our work complies with contract requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards, and is completed on time and within budget.

As principal and chief engineer for FEA, Dan brings over 35 years of experience to help clients maximize the life of physical assets. Throughout his career, Dan has served as project and program manager for hundreds of projects, providing invaluable consulting services.

Dan helps clients maximize their maintenance, repair, and replacement dollars. His experience in facility condition assessments and engineering solutions helps to extend the life of facilities. Beyond his technical expertise, Dan oversees FEA’s quality management and training programs. An industry leader, Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and is committed  to staying at the forefront of advancements in the industry.

Dan earned a Master of Science in Engineering (Construction) from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Structures) from Virginia Tech.
