Principal

As Principal, Chris continues to support clients and advance the FM profession through effective strategic facility asset management.

As a founding principal of FEA, Chris has more than 40 years of experience empowering clients to make informed asset management decisions. His expertise spans facility evaluations, organizational assessments, financial planning, repair and restoration, strategic planning, and training to support clients in all aspects of asset management.

Chris’s dedication extends beyond FEA. He is a recognized leader within the facility management community, actively contributing through writing, presenting, and leading with organizations like IFMA (International Facility Management Association) and APPA (Leadership in Higher Education Facilities Management). Chris is also an adjunct faculty member in the Facility Management Certificate program at George Mason University and has taught in the FM Graduate program at Catholic University. He is co-author of the book, Sustainable Facility Management – The Facility Manager’s Guide to Optimizing Building Performance.

Chris earned a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.

It’s been a pleasure working with clients over 30-years to help them become better stewards of facilities over the entire life cycle.
