Facility Management Institute FBPTA presentations from NFM&T
If you attended one of the sessions at the NFM&T Conference in Baltimore, Maryland on the Facility Management Institute’s FBPTA program on March 11th, 2015, the presentations are available here for you convenience.
In the first session, FMI’s National Program Manager, Brian Gilligan, reviewed the 2014 annual updates to the FBPTA competencies and qualifications and discussed upgrades to the free, online professional development tool accelerate FM and described how that can help you plan and justify training needs based on the requirements of the Act. He also covered the process industry representatives can use to submit courses, certifications, and certificate programs for review by FMI.
In the second session, representatives from the GSA, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs discussed how they are using the Act to promote professional development in their agencies.
