Learning Lab: Message in a Bottle – Better Strategies for Communicating FM Value to the C-Suite
- Sunday, May 5, 2024 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM EDT
- Tuesday, May 7, 2024 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM EDT
This session addresses the common perception of facility operations and management (FM) as merely a cost center within organizations, resulting in undervaluation, underfunding, and understaffing. Laurie will address the importance of effectively communicating the true value that FM brings to the organization. She will equip FM professionals with strategies to communicate their true value to the C-suite and other stakeholders. Through data, case studies, and communication exercises, participants will learn how FM contributes to the organization’s mission and risk management and secure the resources needed to elevate FM’s role within the company.
