2015 FEA Employee of the Year

Employee of the yearEach year FEA selects an employee for special recognition with an employee-of-the-year award based on an individual going above and beyond expectations related to client relations, project performance, business development, innovation and overall leadership.  This year’s recipient is Mike Payne.

Mike has been with FEA for almost three years in addition to interning in the summer and working remotely during his last year of school.  According to Matt Kutzler, “While Mike has only been with FEA a relatively short time, he operates at a level that is beyond what his time here would indicate.  Dan and I have given him all he could handle this year and he has done a fantastic job.”  There were times Mike was involved in over 20 projects at once and he gave each one of his assignments the attention it needed despite some long hours.  He also managed significant projects (largely in a solo capacity) with long-term clients, including the World Bank and Fairlington Villages with Colin Horner.  These extraordinary efforts have not gone un-noticed.

Mike has gained the trust and respect from younger staff and senior FEA leaders alike.  We know that Mike will always see projects through and ask the right questions when he knows he needs help.  For Mike’s exemplary service over the past three years and going well above and beyond expectations to move FEA forward, we congratulate him on being selected the 2015 FEA Employee of the Year!

Let’s build excellence, together.
