“Building a High Performance FM Organization”
World FM Day is a Global FM initiative to celebrate the importance of the facility management (FM) profession. It aims at raising the FM profession profile around the globe, promoting facilities management ideals, not only within the profession and industry, but also among governments and the general business community. Global FM would like to highlight the valuable contributions sound facilities management has made and is making to sustainable global communities and productive, safe, healthy, and secure work environments.
FEA will be participating in World FM Day 2010 by offering a FREE Educational Session entitled “Building a High Performance FM Organization.” This session discusses a strategic way to assess your FM organization and processes. It focuses on a comprehensive organizational and leadership diagnostic method to measure FM performance and create high- performance facilities organizations. The focus is on evaluating key components of an organization to provide recommendations to enable a successful high performance FM organization.

- Learn how to identify areas of ineffectiveness through measurement and subjective questioning.
- Learn how to prescribe a course of improvement for your team to be a high performance FM Organization.
Global FM is a worldwide alliance of member-centered facility management organizations, providing leadership in the advancement of the facility management profession. Member organizations include the International Facility Management Association, the Association for Facilities Engineering, the British Institute of Facilities Management, and the Facility Management Association of Australia, to name just a few. Global FM members have confirmed that events to celebrate this day will occur in Australia, Brazil, France, Hungary, UK, USA, South Africa, and Switzerland.
