Congratulations to Mayra D. Portalatin, RS, SFP, LEED AP O+M for earning her Reserve Specialist (RS) designation with CAI. The RS designation is awarded to qualified reserve specialists who, through years of specialized experience, can help ensure that community associations prepare their reserve budget as accurately as possible. RS designees must meet comprehensive requirements including preparing at least 30 reserve studies within a three calendar year period, holding a bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering (or equivalent experience and education), and abiding by the strict rules of conduct outlined by the Professional Reserve Specialists Code of Ethics. Mayra was inducted at the CAI Conference in Las Vegas on 4/30/15.
