June 24, 2010 – Fairfax, VA – Matthew Kutzler and Michael Kolesar have recently earned their P.E. License after passing the Principles and Practice Exam. Mr. Kutzler earned his in the state of Virginia and Mr. Kolesar in the state of Colorado.
Mr. Kutzler has been with FEA since 2004 after completing his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He is currently a Project Engineer at FEA’s headquarters in Fairfax, VA. Hisexperience includes evaluation and repair of masonry and stucco building enclosures, roofing systems, parking garages, and asphalt and concrete pavements. He has worked with property managers and owners to develop short and long term strategies to develop and implement repair and maintenance plans that make sense for the life cycle of the facility. He has also earned the designation of Construction Document Technologist from the Construction Specifications Institute.
Mr. Kolesar has been with FEA since 2005 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado. He is currently a Project Engineer in FEA’s Lakewood, CO office location. Hehas provided consulting services on a variety of projects involving building envelope evaluation services. He has performed tasks in regard to curtainwalls, including investigation of faulty systems, evaluation of new construction, and repair/restoration of existing systems. He has also earned the designation of LEED Accredited Professional.
