Need to write or administer a performance-based contract?
The Federal government has been talking about, in fact requiring their agencies to utilize, performance-based contracting (PBC) methods for close to 20 years. According to a GOA report written in 2002: To achieve greater cost savings and better outcomes, the Congress and the administration have encouraged greater use of performance-based service contracting. Today organizations and institutions outside of the USGovernment are also talking about performance-based contracting. Smarter facility management drives smart business. PBC is “smart business”. It has been shown to
increase the quality of the services provided and decrease over-all costs.
