On Wednesday, September 27th, Paul Timm will take part in a free program at the KayBailey Hutchison Convention Center that is designed for those with a role in the safety and security of small and medium sized businesses (SMB), and community and cultural institutions, including houses of worship, hospitals, nonprofits, schools, retailers and restaurants, as well as law enforcement and first responders.
Paul will be a panelist in the opening of the program (scheduled for 8:30-10:15 AM), entitled: Active Shooter/Assailant: Understanding the Current Threat Landscape
No business is immune to violence. Our expert panel will provide a high-level overview of steps SMBs can take to prepare and respond to an active shooter/assailant incident. Insights will cover pre-violence indicators, the importance of a crisis management plan and free resources available through local law enforcement and DHS.
