The CFM is a competency-based credential, covering the 11 core competencies of facility management as established by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Those who demonstrate the required experience and qualifications must pass a comprehensive exam and upon passing, are awarded the CFM. Facility professionals and practitioners study and work for years to prepare for this certification. By earning the CFM, John has demonstrated a breadth and depth of experience well recognized in our industry and by the clients we serve. John joins the ranks of the over 3100 CFMs across 32 countries. In IFMA parlance, he has achieved IFMA’s “crown jewel”. Congratulations, John!
