If you missed our FEA-U presented on Monday, September 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM (EST) on Building Re-tuning, A pdf copy of the presentation can be found here and the recording: http://feapc.adobeconnect.com/p3pc7m7anfc/
FEA-U’s are free webinars that we open to our clients (and potential clients) on topics related to the work that we do here at FEA. We look forward to having you with us!
Maureen Roskoski talked about Building Re-tuning and how it can help you.
The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory initiated the commercial building re-tuning project to change the way buildings are maintained and operated and estimates re-tuning commercial buildings can reduce energy use of buildings by 5 to 20%. How can you take advantage of these opportunities and save money in your building primarily from operational savings? Can two days with the right people in your building revitalize your maintenance program? We will explain what building re-tuning is and how it is different from energy audits and commissioning. This is a process that works for buildings with building automation systems as well as those without it. Re-tuning recognizes the underappreciated value in working hand in hand with building engineers and technicians to optimize our facilities.
In this session you will learn…
- The differences between re-tuning and other conventional energy conservation efforts
- The benefits of re-tuning and its role in continuous building improvement
