How can I use my Building Automation System to re-tune my building?
Earlier this fall we introduced you to the concept of Building Re‐tuning. It is “the continual process of observing physical building attributes, monitoring building operations, trending available data, and making the proper adjustments to ensure efficient operations.”
Part II of this discussion will show you how the data from your Building Automation System (BAS) can be used to diagnose changes to your building’s operations & maintenance (O&M) practices, repairs, and control logic. In addition, we’ll show you what BAS trend data can be used to improve a building’s energy efficiency and tenant comfort.
In this session we will help you recognize and correct no/low cost operational problems that lead to energy waste and possibly recognize malfunctioning or broken equipment in need of physical repair.
