December 6, 2010 – Fairfax, VA – Teena Shouse and Mayra Portalatin will be presenting Green Building Rating Systems to the Federal Facilities Council Standing Committee on Sustainable Project Acquisition, Design, and Construction on December 8, 2010 at the Keck Center of the National Academies in Washington, DC.
Ms. Shouse and Ms. Portalatin will be presenting on behalf of the IFMA Foundation “How-to Guide” Series and as author’s of this eighth guide. The Green Rating Systems Guide was created as an unbiased exploration of the world of green rating systems. It is a documented guide to discuss the different system’s attributes, utilization on a global basis, and benefits to the facility management world. The guide consists of realistic data, including costs and benefits of the systems, allowing the reader to make an educated decision based on their own sustainability journey as to which green rating system is best for their facility.
