March 22, 2011 – Fairfax, VA – Doug Yon has recently obtained his Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) credential. Doug is a key contributor to both our Energy Management and Sustainability and Facility Asset Management service lines. He is currently a Project Manager in FEA’s Fairfax, VA office.
Doug’s experience includes working with facility managers by reviewing energy purchase agreements, and summarizing key points affecting overall electrical generation costs and terms and conditions affecting customer responsibilities, benefits, and liabilities. He has provided further assistance by identifying prospective energy brokers, utility rate negotiators, and electrical generation service providers developing of requests for proposals for energy generation services.
The Certified Energy Procurement Professional is a professional credential administered by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated “a high level of knowledge, experience, competence, and ethical fitness covering the full spectrum of activities related to the purchase, sale and marketing of electricity and natural gas.”
