Role
A Physical Security Specialist is sought to assist with project and non-project related work. The specialist will gain experience with building assessment practices and project work in a consulting environment. Local and out-of-town travel will be required. The role includes assisting with physical security assessments, research tasks, electronic document management, and project management assistance. In addition to physical security projects, opportunities will extend to assisting with non-security types of projects. Work will consist of field and office work. Office work may include research, analysis, and preparation of reports. Physical security specialists may gain experience with a wide variety of building systems and facility types, learning how to find and correct deficiencies with those systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement experience, or related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data
- Ability to function independently as well as within a group
- Ability to travel
- Expertise with databases and data management
