The Principal’s Award is given to individuals that have exhibited exceptional work ethic, great attitude, enthusiasm, passion and commitment to FEA’s values. This year (2015) two recipients were recognized – Sara Johnson and Maria Fara.
Sara Johnson – “When you need somebody you can count on and they come through, it makes an impression. When that need coincides with other adversities (big staff changes over a short time) and that person steps up and meets every challenge, it leaves an ‘indelible’ impression” says Principal Bill Small. Throughout 2015, Sara has stepped into and thrived in increasingly challenging circumstances and all with tremendous poise and a fantastic attitude; always delivering in a cooperative and respectful manner – and a smile. Sara works extremely well (beyond her years) with coworkers and clients and truly upholds the values we treasure as a firm.
Maria Fara – Maria has always been there for FEA, regardless of the type of project or work that we’ve been engaged to do. Whether it’s data entry at NPS; keeping us organized and on deadline for the FBPTA; or managing the geotechnical sampling and testing program for Tarrington, Maria is always there putting forth the effort needed to get the job done. In her eight years with FEA, Maria has taken on increasingly challenging projects with even more challenging deadlines. She does all of this with a great attitude, calm demeanor and a dependable work ethic; sometimes from a continent away!
